Chopin: Complete Edition
Deutsche Grammophon, more commonly known as DG records, recently released a complete Chopin set in honor of Frederic Chopin's 200th anniversary. This 17 CD collection is well worth your money, even if you think that your Chopin collection is fairly sizable. There are a variety of performers that contributed to these CD's, including piano legends such as Martha Argerich and Vladimir Ashkenazy. There are also new up-and-coming stars such as Rafal Blechacz, who is a personal favorite interpreter of Chopin's preludes. The sound quality is outstanding, and the performances are spectacular. The best news is that this product is very affordable. The set can be found on amazon for around $65, as well as on itunes for roughly $50. Check it out!
